Flatiron Wine School Presents: Virtual German Wine Masterclass Series – February 4 – February 12, 2022
Officially wave goodbye to those January blues by joining Wines of Germany and Flatiron Wine & Spirits for a virtual German wine masterclass series that explores the varying levels of sugar in Germany’s hallmark grape, Riesling, as well as the country’s lesser-known varieties.
Hosted by Clara Dalzell, these classes will encourage you to talk, taste and explore Germany’s diverse terroirs and producers. Be prepared to walk away knowing another thing or two about the greatness that nature can offer in wine form!
Dr. Riesling or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Sugar
The perception of sugar in wine is the most misunderstood aspect of Riesling and this class will help you challenge the stereotype of Rieslings being “too sweet.”
