The World of German Wine: Tasting in Minneapolis – November 7, 2019
Enjoy an immersion in German wines with us in Minneapolis!
Join us at The Bachelor Farmer on November 7th from 6:30-8:30pm for a guided tasting with the venue’s own Amy Waller and Paul Hennessy along with Wines of Germany Ambassador, top sommelier, and The Bachelor Farmer alum Erin Rolek. Throughout the evening you will become familiar with eight different hidden German gems, like Silvaner, Scheurebe, and Müller-Thurgau. Perfectly paired with some of the restaurant’s signature light appetizers, this event is one you will certainly remember!
Erin served as sommelier and Managing Partner at the The Bachelor Farmer for eight years, recently relocating to Los Angeles to lead the wine program at Onda, a joint project by two of the world’s most esteemed woman chefs, Jessica Koslow and Gabriela Camara. Erin was hugely influential in drawing attention to Minneapolis’ thrilling wine scene and was named a 2019 James Beard semifinalist nominee for best sommelier in the whole nation.
Housed in a historic brick-and-timber warehouse located in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis, The Bachelor Farmer is an award-winning Minneapolis hot-spot. Its unique take on Northern food and fresh, farm-to-table ingredients will pair well with the exquisite flavors of German wine!
Make sure to buy your tickets here and join us on November 7th!
