German Wines Set a Strong Mark at Wine Paris 2026

From February 9 to 11, 2026, the German Wine Institute (DWI) will be showcasing a broad and dynamic selection of German still and sparkling wines at Wine Paris, one of the world’s leading international wine trade fairs.

Located within the German Pavilion at the joint stand of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity (BMLEH) in Hall 6 (Stand D129-03), 66 exhibitors from eight German wine-growing regions will be presenting their portfolios. This represents a new record for German participation, up from 51 exhibitors last year.

“The strong turnout highlights the growing importance of international presence for our wine industry,” emphasizes Melanie Broyé-Engelkes, Managing Director of the German Wine Institute (DWI). “The expanded presence makes the German joint stand even more compelling to attendees and underscores the increasing relevance of German exports.”

Seminars and Tastings

At the DWI tasting counter, trade attendees can explore a diverse selection of wines—from Germany’s flagship varieties Riesling and Pinot Noir to white Pinot varieties, sparkling wines, and alcohol-free options. The experience is complemented by expert guidance and a dynamic seminar program running throughout all three days of the fair.

The tastings will be moderated by German Wine Princess Katja Simon and will spotlight, among other themes, high-quality sparkling wines, white Pinot varieties and non-alcoholic wines
